A quick run from Lidcombe along Olympic Drive to the Sports Halls, or one stop on the T7 line. Obsidian Volleyball Academy runs term classes every Tuesday at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Halls, for juniors aged 8 to 18, from complete beginners to advanced players.

Lidcombe has the easiest no-car run to our Tuesday class: the T7 Olympic Park train leaves from Lidcombe station, Olympic Park is the next stop, and the Sports Halls are about ten minutes on foot from there. Driving is six minutes up Olympic Drive with the P1 to P4 car parks close by, so older kids can get themselves to training and the 4:30 to 6:00pm slot fits around after-school pickup.
The Tuesday session is one class grouped by ability on the night: beginners get their own coach and drills while experienced players train at a faster pace. Accredited coaches with current Working With Children Checks, ages 8 to 18.
$36 a session on a term enrolment, or $40 for a single class. Indoor competition courts, so training never gets rained out. If Tuesday is full the booking page has a waitlist, and school holiday camps run each holidays; dates and venues are on the holiday camp page.
